Most posts start the way a real problem does: something that ran fine for months breaks after an OS update, an enrollment that won't complete, an API that returns the wrong thing. The write-up is the part the docs skip — what actually happened, why, and a fix that holds up in production. No marketing, no "10 best MDMs" listicles.

It's written from the day job, by someone who deploys and manages these fleets for a living — so the solutions here are ones I've actually had to make work, not theory. The work spans the full lifecycle: MDM setup through Apple Business Manager, zero-touch enrollment, security and compliance baselines, and the scripting and automation that turn a new hire's first day into a five-minute setup. Lately a lot of that runs through AI tooling — including an MCP server for Jamf — and that shows up here too.
